Submitting a collection

Submitting photos of your collection for evaluation is free. There is no fee at any point, and you are never obligated to accept an offer or to sell anything.

By submitting, you confirm that the photos are of cards you own and that you have the right to sell them.

Evaluations and offers

An evaluation is our informal opinion based on the photos and information you provide. It is not an appraisal or a guarantee of value.

Any offer we make is a single, all-in price for the collection as described in your submission. We never guarantee a price before seeing photos, and an offer may differ from what you expected. You are free to decline any offer for any reason.

An offer may include an expiration date. After it expires, we may re-evaluate based on current market conditions.

If you accept an offer

When you accept, we arrange insured shipping through a US carrier and cover the cost of the label. You agree to pack the collection reasonably securely and to ship the cards described in your submission.

Payment is made after the collection arrives and passes our inspection. We inspect to confirm the cards match what was submitted. If the collection differs materially from the photos (for example, key items missing), we may revise the offer or return the collection at our expense.

Payment is sent manually by Card Scout using the payment method agreed with you. We do not use automated payments.

Ownership and authenticity

You confirm that you own the cards you submit and that, once we pay you, ownership transfers to us.

We reserve the right to decline any submission or cancel any transaction if we believe the cards are counterfeit, stolen, or not yours to sell.

Independent business

Card Scout is an independent private buyer. We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or The Pokémon Company International.
